Before you order.
Can it wash hair as well as the body?
Yes. The manufacturer describes the SB04 as a hair and body washing system for bedside use.
Does the person need to move to a bathroom?
The system is designed for washing at the bedside. The person may still need help with positioning and access to different areas of the body.
Can I use it by myself?
Independent operation has not yet been verified. The right level of help depends on reach, movement, setup, tank handling and individual needs. Ask us to discuss your situation.
How many carers are needed?
Staffing depends on the individual’s moving and handling plan and clinical needs. We do not promise that every person can be washed by one carer.
Can it prevent pressure sores or UTIs?
Good hygiene supports skin care and is part of NHS UTI prevention advice. We have not been supplied with clinical evidence showing that this particular device prevents or treats either condition.
Is it battery powered?
The SB04 brochure lists a mains adapter. It does not confirm a battery. The larger SB02 is a different model and its battery specification should not be applied to this product.
What is included and when can it be delivered?
